As a part of our normal operations, Aspire General Insurance Company, and Aspire General Insurance Services, LLC (hereafter “Aspire General Insurance”) collects, and in some cases, discloses information about you. We encourage you to read the following Privacy Statement that contains information about Aspire General Insurance policies regarding the collection, use, disclosure, and protection of your information. Aspire General Insurance’s customers may also receive a separate privacy statement for insurance products in the initial policy package and annual policy documents. Those customer privacy statements may contain additional privacy information relating to your customer relationship with us. Those privacy statements and this Privacy Policy should be read together.
Aspire General Insurance is committed to protecting you and your information. That commitment guides every aspect of our operation. It is vital that we make sure you, as the consumer, remain fully informed and in complete control of how we use your personal information. This policy will explain in detail what personal information we collect, how you can edit and remove certain personal information, how we use your personal information, and how we protect your personal and sensitive personal information.

WHAT INFORMATION DO WE COLLECT?
To provide a tailored service experience during the quoting, application, or claims handling process you may provide us with Personal information such as your:
- Name
- Address

- E-mail address
- Social Security Number
- Driver’s License Number
- Birth date
- Policy(ies) Type(s) & Number(s)
- Mother’s maiden name
- Credit Card Information
- Accident/violation history
- Information about vehicle operators

- Vehicle information
- Claims-related data including occupational information and health data
If you provide us with an email address, Aspire General Insurance may use it to contact you regarding insurance transactions related to policy generation and claims handling. Please contact us via phone or email if you wish to unsubscribe from these emails.
If you provide your mobile number and with your consent, we may send text messages regarding insurance transactions, related requests and activities.
If you are a policyholder, you can amend your communication preferences by clicking “How do I access and correct my personal information?” If you have not already registered for your online account, follow the steps provided by your broker before updating your communication preferences.
We may also collect Personal Information while you browse our website in the form of cookies and/or cache. Aspire General insurance makes it easy. Simply follow the steps outlined by your internet browser to opt out and delete any of the data retained. Additionally, you may want to consider a program to reject the retention of any cookies and/or cache that may be collected while visiting our website.
During the period you are logged in our site, we log IP addresses (a number assigned to your computer when you use the Internet), browser and platform types, domain names, access times, referral data (the last site or URL you visited before logging into our site and the first site or URL you visit after leaving our site), and your activity while using or reviewing our site. Once you navigate away from our website, any information collected is immediately deleted.
As part of our services, we also use cookies. A cookie is a message sent to your browser from a Web server that is stored on your computer’s hard drive. The message is sent back to the Web server whenever the browser requests a page from that server. Many commercial Internet sites use cookies. While code in the cookie file enables the site to label you as a particular user, none of your personal information is retained by Aspire General Insurance at any time. Final note, if involved in an accident or incident with another individual, we may have to share your information for the sole purpose of handling that incident. We may also be required to share your information with our reinsurers, insurance-support organizations that help us detect and prevent fraud, state insurance departments and other governmental and law enforcement authorities(where required by law or to protect our legal interests or in cases of suspected fraud or illegal activities), consumer reporting agencies as required by law, and if ordered by subpoena, search warrant or other court order. We may disclose Personal Information to our service providers involved in our verification, data-processing, risk-assessment, security, and antifraud efforts, and where required by state and federal law.
Depending on where you live and your transaction with us, the types of information we may collect could include: your full name; marital status; date of birth; the names and dates of birth of other persons in your household; addresses; telephone numbers; social security number; driving records; the types of vehicles you drive and records about those vehicles; health information; income and tax data; employment; credit and/or criminal conviction history; information about your bank or financial institutions, including account numbers; lienholder information; information about other insurance you have or have had; and/or your e-mail address.
WHAT TRANSACTION DATA DO WE RETAIN
We may collect Personal Information about transactions and experiences with us, such as your payment history, claims history, prior coverage selections, and vehicle changes.
DO WE EVER GET DATA FROM OTHER OR OUTSIDE SOURCES
To provide the most seamless and efficient experience possible, we may receive additional Personal Information from service providers and third parties. This information may include motor vehicle reports, claims reports, and/or credit information where applicable by law. Additionally, when applying for a policy, your broker of choice submits this information to Aspire General Insurance for review prior to approving any insurance policy. Reasons for the acceptance or denial of any policy may be shared with your broker on a case-by-case basis where allowed by state laws. Lastly, when reporting a claim to Aspire General Insurance data may be collected. This data may include information from potential lienholders (e.g., for child support, Medicare, or medical providers). This information is vital to process your claims in compliance with state and federal law.
DO YOU TRACK MY LOCATION
Your current location is only collected and used by us if you permit us to do so. If you allow your location to be collected via web browser, we may use this Personal Information to determine your estimated location. This Personal Information may be used to distinguish your current location and verify your residency where applicable by state law.
HOW DO I ACCESS AND CORRECT MY PERSONAL INFORMATION
If you are a resident of California, you have the right to request access to and correct your Personal Information that we collect from or about you. You can do so in the following ways:

ARE THERE ANY UNIQUE PRIVACY GUIDELINES FOR CALIFORNIA RESIDENTS

Rights under the CCPA:

- Right to Delete: You can request that a business delete personal information it has collected from you, with some exceptions.
- Right to Opt-Out: You can direct businesses not to sell your personal information.
- Right to Non-Discrimination: Businesses cannot discriminate against you for exercising your CCPA rights.

Please note we cannot delete any information necessary to complete insurance transactions, process your policy, or what is required to be maintained by California and Federal law.

Verified Requests: To protect you and your personal information, we will only respond to requests to know, access, delete or correct data that we have been able to properly verify through our authentication processes. To verify your identity, you will be asked to provide pieces of personal information, such as name and demographic information, which we only use to verify your identity or authority to make the request and to process the request.

A note on Sensitive Personal Information:
After obtaining (or having a third-party or service provider obtain) consent from an individual to do so, Aspire General Insurance may collect or receive a consumer’s precise geolocation, citizen or immigration status, credit card, driver’s license number, social security number, or information concerning a consumer’s health.
WHAT HAPPENS ONCE I SUBMIT A REQUEST TO CHANGE, REMOVE, OR UPDATE MY PERSONAL INFORMATION
We will respond to any verified requests within forty-five (45) calendar days, or longer depending on the nature of the request. We will notify you if additional time is required. We may only respond to two access requests within a 12-month period. Requests from authorized agents must be submitted via the same online portal or toll-free number, but to protect your privacy consumers are required to verify their identity directly with us via our toll-free number.
WHAT PERSONAL INFORMATION DO WE DISCLOSE
The Personal Information collected about our customers, former customers, applicants, independent contractors, and employees, will only be disclosed as permitted or required by law.
For our customers and former customers, collected Personal Information is maintained in your policy and/or claims records. We use this Personal Information to process and service your policy and to settle claims.
Here are examples of how we may disclose your Personal Information:
- We must exchange Personal Information about you with our brokers, investigators, appraisers, attorneys, and other persons or agents who are or will become involved in processing your application and servicing your policy or any claims you may make.
- We disclose your Personal Information to persons or organizations as necessary to perform transactions or provide services that you request or authorize.
- When involved in a claim, we provide policy information to adjusters and the businesses that will repair your vehicle.
- We may disclose Personal Information with persons or organizations that we have determined need the Personal Information to perform a business, professional, or insurance function for us. These include businesses that help us with administrative functions only. All entities are obligated to keep the Personal Information that we provide to them confidential and to use the Personal Information only for the purpose for which the Personal Information was provided.
- Personal Information may be provided to organizations conducting actuarial research or audits. In this case, you will not be individually identified in any research report. The organization must agree not to redisclose the Personal Information and the Personal Information will be returned to us or destroyed when it is no longer needed.
We may also share your Personal Information for other permitted purposes, including:- with another insurance company if you are involved in an accident with their insured
- with our reinsurers
- with insurance-support organizations that detect and prevent fraud
- with consumer reporting agencies as permitted by law
- with medical professionals or institutions to verify coverage or to conduct operations or services audits
- with state insurance departments or other governmental or law enforcement authorities if required by law or to protect our legal interests or in cases of suspected fraud or illegal activities
- if ordered by a subpoena, search warrant or other court order or mandatory government or law enforcement process.

- in the event of a business transaction involving the sale of all or a portion of our business or assets in which case we will comply with applicable laws regarding notice and consent in such transfers
HOW DO WE MAINTAIN YOUR CONFIDENTIALITY AND SECURITY
Protecting your personal information is important to us. We use a combination of reasonable technical, administrative, and physical safeguards to protect your personal information. However, no website, mobile application, database, or system is completely secure or “hacker proof.” Therefore, we cannot guarantee its absolute security. You are also responsible for taking reasonable steps to protect your personal information against unauthorized disclosure or misuse.
We limit access to your personal information to those who need it to do their jobs. We comply with all applicable federal and state data security laws.
HOW OLD SHOULD YOU BE TO USE OUR WEBSITE
Our website is intended to be used for insurance and financial products and services only. The website is not intended for children of any age. Our products or services are marketed to independent brokers only. However, we do collect information from potential and current policyholders regarding household members 14 years of age and older for the purpose of rating and servicing the policy.
HOW DO WE USE PERSONAL INFORMATION
The information you submit to us via our online forms and e-mail is used to provide you with the response or service you have requested. It may also be used with the information we collect via logging and cookies to identify you as a particular user; to track and measure website usage and customer/user preferences, interests, demographics, and traffic patterns; and to determine audience size and repeat usage. This information may also be used to manage and customize our website’s content, layout, and services to improve our site, enhance customer service, and provide tailored messages.
We may also use this information to contact you about our products and services. WHO HAS ACCESS TO THIS INFORMATION
To better serve your needs, Aspire General Insurance, its brokers, and certain companies working on behalf of Aspire General Insurance, have access to this information. We may disclose your Personal Information to third parties without your consent if necessary to comply with legal processes or to protect the rights, property, or personal safety of you, Aspire General Insurance, its users, or the public. Also, we may provide limited information about you to third parties when necessary or appropriate to service an insurance policy we have issued (e.g., inquiries from lien holders or additional insureds listed on your policy) or to address claims submitted under a policy we have issued.
Any shared personal information with companies working on behalf of Aspire General Insurance is protected via a confidentiality agreement and additional information security practices listed in the “How do we maintain confidentiality and security?” section.
Additionally, where permitted by law, provide your personal information without your permission to certain persons or organizations, such as: your broker; insurance support organizations; other insurance companies in order to perform insurance service functions or transaction to which you are involved; independent claim adjusters; businesses that conduct actuarial or research studies; regulatory and law enforcement authorities; or our affiliated companies. HOW DO I MANAGE MY SMS SERVICE ENROLLMENT
Aspire General Insurance may utilize contact information to send SMS/Text messages and emails. There may be fees charged by your wireless carrier for SMS/Text messages. Any questions regarding charges for SMS/Text messages should be directed to your wireless carrier. By providing an email address or mobile number to us, you expressly consent to receive emails and text messages, which may be sent at unusual times, including before 8:00 am and after 9:00 pm.
To opt-in to messages concerning your policy information, you can text “Enroll” to 53987. If you wish to stop receiving SMS/Text message from us, reply STOP to any text message sent from us.
Opting into receiving emails is completed when you purchase a policy from one of our brokers. To opt-out of email messages, locate and click the “Unsubscribe” link at the bottom of any email sent by Aspire General Insurance.
WHAT ARE YOUR OPTIONS REGARDING COLLECTION, USE, AND DISTRIBUTION OF YOUR INFORMATION
Any information you submitted to Aspire General Insurance via our online form or e-mail is done on a voluntary basis. When you access our site, the collection, use, and distribution of your information will be handled according to the terms and policies outlined in this Privacy Statement. We use the Secure Socket Layer (SSL) protocol, a secure server and security protocol to safeguard the information you submit.
To help ensure the security of your personal and financial information that you submit to us (other than via an e-mail message), we use security software to encrypt the information before and during its transmission through the Internet. We only allow information to be submitted for transmission if your browser is compatible with our security software.
